(Boston, MA) -- Danielle Dimond, a salesperson with Senné Residential in Boston, Massachusetts, has been elected a vice chairperson of the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR) Young Professionals Network Committee for 2023.
As a GBAR committee leader, Dimond is responsible for ensuring that the committee meets its programming goals and business initiatives as set forth in the association’s strategic plan. Specifically, she will help administer the activities of the Young Professionals Network, facilitate discussion at committee meetings, and provide regular reports and present committee action items to the GBAR Board of Directors. The GBAR Young Professionals Network coordinates programs, services and activities designed to promote networking opportunities for new and younger members of the association, as well as enhance association’s communication channels, delivery of education, and connection to this same segment of the membership.
In addition, Dimond will serve on the 2023 Charitable Grants Committee, as well as Global Council, a task force that meets regularly to identify programs, activities, and resources for GBAR members to support new opportunities to help international and immigrant home buyers and sellers. Global Council also focuses on ways to increase the diversity of the association through active involvement by agents and brokers representing minority groups and other significant segments of the Greater Boston population.
In 2022, Dimond was recruited to support GBAR’s 2023 Roadshow Workgroup, a task force designated for planning the 9th annual GBAR Roadshow Conference & Expo. Members of this task force have consistently immersed themself in education and keep a keen pulse keynote speakers who focus on ever-evolving best practices and business success factors. This workgroup identifies and ultimately determines the Roadshow’s theme, topics, panelists and keynote speakers that will most benefit the event's 400+ REALTOR® attendees this March at the one-day event.
On the state level, Dimond serves as a member of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) Young Professionals Network Committee, a committee that helps MAR build a new, diverse generation of leaders, while gaining a valuable perspective on generational shifts. Dimond is also a part of the MAR Gratitude Project, a special task force created to recognize the unsung heroes of the REALTOR® community.
The Greater Boston Association of Realtors® is one of five real estate specialty divisions of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. The GBAR membership currently totals more than 10,000 residential real estate agents and brokers working in over 950 offices throughout Metropolitan Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. A local chapter of the Massachusetts and National Associations of REALTORS®, GBAR is the largest local REALTOR® association in New England and in the top 30 nationwide.
